Love x hate

Right now at 4am in the morning I came to realize something
Due to recent events in my life I've been rather mixed up in emotions and it got me thinking why people are always getting played by 2 particular emotions/ feelings within our nature.
& of course those would be love and hate.

They say love can turn into hate in a second.

People spend all their life loving and many also spend a part of their life hating.

Ever had someone ask you why you love someone?

You can't answer. Right?

Well there's goes the same or hate.
When someone hate (dislikes) a person, he/she can go on and on about how this person is so detestable etc. but honestly (usually) I don't think there is one particular reason on why one would hate another.

They also say that love is the opposite of hate. But you don't need a particular reason to love. Neither do you need a particular reason to hate.

Then are they really that different? What about a love-hate relationship?

So do you actually love the person more or hate the person more. But if both emotions are the direct opposite of each other, then how do you really love AND hate the person?

haha I really don't know what message in trying to bring across here. I'm tired. I haven't slept much and I've been engulfed with many feelings today so PARDON ME.
Maybe ill post about it another day.
