Day out with parents
Let me begin this post with a picture of myself!
HI!
some day last week, i went out with my parents for lunch at some random japanese little restaurant to nomz.
i'm not a particular fan of japanese food... except ramen and sashimi & i have rather high expectations for food as well.. sadly.
so here are some pictures!
Cold tofu with tako flakes and special sesame sauce.
something new so i decided to order it to try.. not bad.
sashimi!! 5 types of sashimi. nice plating, like a gold boat.
Gilled chicken with asparagus. the BEST imo. the chicken was tender and the sauce was super delicious!
10 x better than tori Q's sauce!
i cant remember if it was ebi or lobster maki. look at the wasabi! all of the wasabi designs came like this.
cute or cute? ^.^
Japanese style pork chop.
didn't like it at all though.
My soba set!! i love love soba.. and look at the curious little quail egg at the top.
it's to mix it with the spring onions and dipped with the soba! yum!
(& the cute wasabi)
deep fried salmon skin which my mum loves.
Mango pudding which i didn't finish after one bite. didn't like it at all.
Dad ordered one HUGE bento with 4 different ingredients too. too much food and we had to waste quite a lot in the end ):
i always order too much food. super bad habit of mine.
i haven't been out with my parents alone for a long long time! i'm always with friends, boyfriend, school, out, whatever. it does feel good to be out with them.
went shopping after that and i have 4 new tops, 3 new skirts, 1 new shorts, belt and a few beauty products! yay!!
So, speaking of japanese food. i think the bestest ramen place in singapore is Ippudo!!
Introduced to me by a super good friend. he brought me there once and i fell deeply in love with it.
even the green tea there is extremely fragrant.
Dont look down on this boring bowl of ramen!
my friend actually told me this 'your eyeballs will definitely roll to the back of your eyes when you drink the soup!'
The soup was fragrant, wasn't too salty. The egg was hard on the outside, watery on the inside.
the pork melts in our mouth!
i'm not a great fan of pork belly, esp those with fat on it.
BUT pork belly from ippudo? I SPARE NONE!!!!!!
the gyoza is pretty good too! its crispy on the outside and really soft inside.
yums.
okay moving on, mercus was being SO DAMN SWEET to me ystd! i went town with stella and ally for shopping in the afternoon and was supposed to meet him in the night. but i HAD to forget to bring my wallet out for the day. (thank god i hold onto a separate card holder with my bank cards in it) & just so you were thinking, i didn't draw any money but only nets whatever i bought. i don't know why i didn't think of drawing money either. i just don't have the habit to. i always have cash on hand and use a card whenever i can. so i met him only at 10. i was late, hungry and didn't have a single stick with me. when i met him, he was sitting alone waiting, with salad and a pack for me!!! SWEET OR WHAT! then later he surprised me with a baby eeyore! why is he so so sweet!! ( 10 mins ago, i texted him a sad face about 30 mins after we put down the phone and he was supposed to be sleeping & called me immediately to ask what happened (': & to assure me ) i feel so loved <3 br="br" nbsp="nbsp"> 
DAMN CUTE!!!!
it's the kind of cute that you will smile whenever you look at it! (:
