Life with my 3 loves (dogs) hello! for all those who knows, I LOVE dogs!! love love LOVE dogs. i'm the kind of girl who will go 'AHHHH OMGOMG SO CUTE' when i see someone walking their dogs. *then proceeds to play with the dog and striking a conversation with its owner* i've been pestering my dad to get me a dog since very very young, god knows since when. But i had VERY bad asthma when i was a kid and there was NO WAY i could live with any furry animals at home. On top of that, my dad has this thing about cleaniness and insists that dogs are dirty etc. So then, how did we end up with 3 dogs at one point of time? one afternoon my dad was reading the papers and came across some guy who wanted someone to adopt his chihuahua cause he was going moving overseas. i dont know why my dad thought of going to take a look at the chihuahua but he did anyway. & brought us along with him. maybe it was the years of pestering and all? no idea. but as we reached the owner's place, he had 8 chihuahuas. 7 of them long-fur chihuahuas. EXTREMELY beautiful.

& one short fur chihuahuas. 7 of them were very VERY active. running around the yard whereas the short fur one was just sitting on the table alone.
apparently, the owner only wants to give the short fur one away. he said that 7 of the long fur chihuahuas belonged to a family and always bullied the short fur one.
my dad was reluctant to take in that dog.
She looked very 'dead'. didnt wag her tail at all when people came and much less respond to anything or anyone at all. very 'chill', in a way.
well anyway, we took her in for $200. & so that was how we got Lucky
 
Lucky is the kind of dog that basically cannot be bothered about anything other than food, walks and me. we were really close.
she would literally jump for joy everytime i come home from school, i used to bring her out for walks everyday. sometimes REALLY long walks that i had to carry her home. it was really sad that as she got older, i would get tired after maybe 10 minutes of walking and i had to bring her home.
i used to sing alot and when i did, she would stand on her feet and when i carried her up, she would lay on my lap and listened to me sing until she sleeps. When i stop, she would walk up and start pushing her head on my belly for attention <3 p="p">

She's gone now and i miss her so so much. to be honest, it didn't hurt as much as i thought it would. I guess when you see your pet which you love so SO much in so much pain, you'd choose to end the pain for her.
yes, it was my decision to put her to sleep. it was hard and i cried really badly.
She was old and stayed with us for 7 years odd. much much longer than everyone expected because when we first adopted her, we did not know how old she was. The vet estimated that she was about 8 then (the owner told us she was 2. zz) and everyone who saw me walking her said she was really old.
well when she left, the vet wrote a card to us, saying 'the best place the dog lives is in your heart'.
right now, i cannot agree more.

okay, pictures never really do justice to how cute and handsome ahboy really is.
He's a wired fur jack russell. Extremely loyal to my dad.
i dont have many pictures of him because he stays outside and also, he's SO SO active!! almost every picture we snap of him is blurry. and clear ones are just not as cute and handsome as how he really is!!
How did we end up with a second dog?
well, i remember clearly when i was 14, i was having my cross country when my mum called me saying that my dad brought a dog back.
i rushed home afterwards and saw this little puppy, sized like lucky and super super cute. my dad's friend's dog apparently gave birth to 3 dogs and my dad adopted one.
well, He's really big now for a jack russell. very strong as well. my dad puts him outside because he wants a 'guard dog'.
Ahboy is the kind of dog that barks really fiercely at strangers who approaches the house. & especially if no one is home.
apologies to all mailmen and delivery men! hehe
Ahboy and Lucky become really close dogfriends actually. Lucky even got pregnant once! haha =X
Well, but as years go by, ahboy become really rough and strong that he could easily hurt lucky and that was when we had to separate them..
then... the 3rd dog came in..

my dad found him actually. my dad was at a funeral and this dog came running around. the owner never appeared. For 3 days, my dad was at the funeral and all 3 days, this little boy was there.
no one looked for him. we have no idea whether he is lost or abandoned but now i strongly believe that he was abandoned. he knows his way home!!!
anyway. when my dad first brought wang back, he could not mix with ahboy or lucky at all!!
ah boy attacked him SO many times. and well... lucky just didn't like him. lol
my dad wanted to give wang away but my brother refused to allow my dad to do so.. so that is how we ended up with 3 dogs.
my dad had to train ahboy and wang for quite some time for them to be able to mix well. wang bullied lucky ALOT that we had to separate them. having lucky in my room while wang stays in the living room
Now, boy and wang are buddies and are pretty much inseparable.
Wang's REALLY smart and he's one dog that is ALWAYS giving those sad eyes. its so cute and irritating at the same time. he's really greedy (And hence his size) and pretty much cannot be bothered about anything other than food, walks, toys, birds and ahboy.
you can kick him while you walk past him. he would just look up and then continue to laze there. He loves sleeping in places where people would walk past and finds joy in blocking everybody's way.
Example, in the middle of the walkway between the kitchen and the living room.
Below are random pictures of them. and yes, i don't have a picture with all 3 of them in it. it's literally impossible. it's damn hard to get lucky near wang and even harder to have ahboy and wang together peacefully.
i used to have a ton of pictures of lucky but my camera was stolen by my maid, phones spoilt etc. IM SO SAD NOW. but yes, she lives in my heart and i do dream of her still (':

Hello people! Here's a random update about my life since i haven't been blogging much. *apologises again*

1) it's the holidays now, again!! 2) I've been employed! I haven't officially started work yet but I'd be starting next week, I believe. Working at BFF, batter fluffy flaps(selling pancakes) at katong! Come and visit! You'll have 10% off for knowing people who work there! 3) I've been really unhealthy for the whole holidays that I'm almost always sick. ): 4) I'm nocturnal now ..... 5) I HAVE FOUND MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!!! I have ordered it and it has arrived! Blessy blessy! It fits perfectly! And I secretly hope ill miraculously grow taller, slimmer and more boobs so ill fit in it better and look nicer! Yay! And I've been soaking in chlorine for 2 consecutive days! Alright, random pictures below as I end this post off! Goodnight and goodbye~~ Anyway! HALLOWWWEEENNNNN HELLOOO!!!! yesyes, i know halloween is still long long later but ive been SUPER excited for it!!! Fi and i have been deciding on what to wear, going on costume hunts and all that but we haven't found the one we really really want yet!!! we have been making jokes about what to be together like...

it's ridiculous how we would stay up the entire night googling on what we want to be and out excitement would lasts us days later.
well! just saying to all that you all should really start deciding on what you all wanna dress as so you'll have sufficient time to hunt for your costumes.
i really wanted to dress up last year too but my friends didn't so i fit in and wore normal clothes that night itself.
so glad that this year round my friends that i'll be spending halloween with are enthusiastic about dressing up (well, half of them). YAY!
