Sex slaves or not? Okay quick update on my blog about an article i came across in straitstimes. with a strong title: Malaysian MP says men have affairs because wives 'neglect' duty. And Obviously, duty (note, not dutieS) in this case is apparently easing the urge of their husbands. If i'm not wrong, such a statement was made due to the recent 'sex video scandal' which featured Anwar. So anyway, back to the article, there were several sentences that lit a little fire in me. So i shall share a few lines i quote from the article. NOTE: the article QUOTES these so means, this MP SAID it. 1) 'Husbands driving home after work see things that are sexually arousing and go to their wives to ease their urges,' 2) 'In Islam, wives are supposed to stop everything to fulfill their husband's demands.' 3) 'Wives failing in their duties pushed men to go to 'private places to satisfy their urges" HOLDDDDD? look at the words i bold. sorry, why do we(females) get married to men? idk? several different reasons i suppose. maybe like... - because we're in love - to start a family - to have a lifetime companion - whatever the reason but MAYBE , 'to be a sex slave' might not get on the list. (unless its a forced marriage) oh i meant DEFINITELY. 1) 'see things that are sexually arousing and go to their wives to ease their urges' seriously, if you think about what he said .... HELLO, ITS MALAYSIA! NOT ROME OR WHATEVER. what can be seen in the streets that are sexually arousing? (let's not even bother saying Malaysia. Singaporeans get onto STOMP just by kissing in the train (rolls eyes) ) after all, 96 WERE ARRESTED IN KL ALONE FOR 'CLOSE PROXIMITY' ON VDAY OKAY! unless what he meant by sexually arousing is accidentally looking at an ass crack of an ahsoh that is on her way home OR bras that are in shops or something. it's RIDICULOUS. & okay fine, you get horny so you decide to have sex with your wife. done. but 'go to their wives to ease their urges' ? when did the word 'wife' become 'stay-in prostitutes' ? 2) In Islam, wives are supposed to stop everything to fulfill their husband's demands.' i'm not really sure about how marriages work in islam but really? wives have to stop whatever their doing just because HE WANTS IT? what if she's feeding the kid? or washing the laundry? REALLY? OR is he so persistent that the GUY having an affair is NOT his fault but because the wife did not adhere to the rule of islam so it's okay to cheat? WHAT? 3) 'Wives failing in their duties pushed men to go to 'private places to satisfy their urges" i can SLAP HIM. Who said a duty of the Wife is to just have sex with her husband when he wants it? okay fine. maybe a century ago. TODAY, WIVES work too! i guess we have A LITTLE more duty than to satisfy you? okay apparently, just one breadwinner in the family might not provide enough financial stability to the family. so wife works. THEN one night HE has an urge cause he saw two cats 'wakawaka-ing' while he was going home. but OH NO, wife is working night shift today and can't fulfil her duty! you go have an affair ok! WTF? and PRIVATE PLACES TO SATISFY URGES. (not one time okay) so if you dont earn enough money she can go get other men? HELLO YOU DING DONG OR WHAT? yes or no, it is NOT a reason for you to have an affair just because she doesn't satisfy you when YOU want it, you selfish _________ (whatever word you want to input)!!! whatever he has said is extremely disrespectful and i'm not sure if he's married but i can say 'POOR WIFE!' because she has to have sex with him whenever he wants and if she doesn't, she gets cheated on (probably so). okay moving on to smth that has been made into a mountain recently, maid carrying nsmen bags! here's a video!
