Mother Recently, i came across this article online that was titled 'Mother of the year'. What was written was that this tiger which gave birth prematurely. The cubs didn't survive and the tiger mum fell into depression. Her health began declining despite her being physically fine. So the veterans decided if she could surrogate another tigress's cubs, her health would improve. However, they couldn't find any cubs that were of about same age as her cubs In desperation, the zoo keepers decided to experiment something. The only baby animals they had were piglets. so they wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and place them near her. Did they become her 'cubs' or pork chop? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() it kinda reminded my of my own baby girl. she got pregnant last year. Her pups didn't were not living in her womb and so she had to have her pups removed. after the surgery, she stayed in the animal hospital for several days and was depressed too. the vets gave her a toy, a mouse. When she could be 'discharged', she just kept biting onto the toy an refused to let it go. the vet was nice and gave it to her. When she came back, she wouldn't leave her home because the mouse was in it. if anyone tried to touch the mouse, other than me, she would bite the person. only after quite some time she started to 'relax' about her mouse. even up till now, she cares about her mouse. but isnt as nervous as before anymore. it was heartbreaking to see her that way. but ever since then she was sterilised so were boy and wang. if animals love their pups and cubs so much, how could some mothers torture their children? 0 comments |
